Protect your hair from winter

Hi, whether you are one of our wonderful Spires clients or simply reading this may I wish you a belated Happy New Year which, I am sure will be better than the last with a lot to look forward to.

Ok, January and it’s got to be about ….. Protecting your hair from winter.

As I write this we are under National Restrictions and closed until further notice (again) so we are therefore entrusting you with the care of your hair until we see you again.

The good news is that you are not alone and we are only an email away from giving you any help so please let us have any questions about your hair however trivial you consider they may be. Our address is salon@spireshairdressing.net.

Here are a few pointers:

1. Maintenance – Choosing the right shampoo and masque for your hair type.
if you need to refresh your highlights or take away unwanted brassiness use a blonde enhancing shampoo such as L’Oreal Serie Expert Silver or the Blondifier range of both shampoo and masques. The difference is that the silver tends to be more drying for everyday use whereas the Blondifier has been developed to be more moisturising.
2. Cutting – however, tempted you are please please resist as the consequences could take months to put right but if you really feel the need… the bare minimum.
3. Colour – a root spray is always preferable to a box dye and we recommend the L’Oreal Paris Magic Retouch or The Hair Revolution Root Cover Up, both come in a number of colours.
